SSSI Conference 2015 Information (Chicago) (incl. Preliminary Program) #sssi #sociology

on behalf of Tony Puddephatt

Dear SSSI annual conference goers,

We are closing in on the conference date for our 2015 SSSI annual conference in Chicago!  Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Many of you are enrolled in the conference, yet have not registered, nor become SSSI members. Please ensure this is done soon to ensure you keep your spot on the program. The memberships are very reasonable, and a small price to pay for all of the benefits of the conference as well as the journal subscriptions. Please get this registration or membership sign-up out of the way as soon as possible. Also, we encourage people to sign up for the banquet dinner, which should be an excellent evening of food and stimulating conversations. There are still plenty of spaces left for that.

Registration/membership/banquet sign-up can all be handled conveniently through this link:

Information about booking at a preferred rate at the hotel, and other relevant issues, are included in the attached preliminary program. Please take a close look at your participation in the program. This will be your last chance to let me know of any changes that need to be made, or to let us know if you cannot make it this year.  I will send the final program for printing shortly after August 15, so please have a look at the program before then.  If there are any changes that need to be made, please let me know at

Thanks very much for your patience in this process! All best and safe travels to Chicago!

Tony (VP, SSSI)
